About The Lecturer
Honorable Bobby P. Luna was hired by the San Francisco Superior Court and sworn in as a Court Commissioner on June 3, 2024. Commissioner Luna is currently assigned to Department 416 as an AB-1058 Child Support Commissioner. Commissioner Luna is a member of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court in Sacramento and a member of the Lawyers’ Club of San Francisco Inn of Court. He is also a member of the California Judge’s Association and a member of the California Latino Judge’s Association, and the Cruz Reynoso Bar Association. Prior to joining the Bench, Commissioner Luna owned and operated a successful family law practice in Sacramento where in he mentored and trained family law attorneys. Commissioner Luna is a Certified Family Law Specialist, and he has previously taught Family Law, as Adjunct Faculty, at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He received his JD from McGeorge School of Law and obtained a Masters in Public Policy and Administration, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from C.S.U. Sacramento. On those cooler mornings, you can find Commissioner Luna frequenting many of the local donut shops.
